1969 Chevrolet Camaro
This is an extremely nice and very rare 1969 Camaro RS/SS Pace Car Convertible. The car has very nice paint and interior. The paint and convertible top is like new. This is a non-console car and comes with a tilt column and has the rare option YA3 convertible shoulder belts, 14x7 rally wheels with E70-14 Goodyear bias ply reproduction tires. The trunk has a rally wheel spare with cover and the car has a new trunk mat. The car has its original born with matching number engine (not a restamp), original transmission, original rear end. Period correrct Rochester 4bbl carb, starter and alternator.
This RS/SS car has with its original ‘HB’ code 300 Horspower 350 engine, original Turbo350 automatic transmission, original ‘BL’ code 307 rear end. power disc brakes, power steering, cowl induction, brand new aluminized factory stock dual exhaust system with correct chrome extensions and it even includes an original style transverse muffler and has a brand new gas tank. It has its original intake manifold, Rochester 4bbl carb, dated factory spark plug wires,
The car was restored with great attention to detail, with very nice paint, nice gaps. All the glass is nice, chrome is excellent, door jambs nice and clean. The paint on the car shines beautifully, better than the pictures show. Stripes were painted under the clear. All the lights work, horn, brake lights, turn signals, interior light, wipers, etc. The interior looks amazing as well. Comes with full spare and jacking equipment in the trunk too.
This is a rare opportunity to own an iconic ‘real deal’ 1969 Camaro RSSS Pace Car convertible, not a clone. These true matching number documented cars are getting harder to find in this kind of condition and are quite rare, if you do find one the price will be much higher than my reserve. This Pace car is a collector grade vehicle that will earn you money the longer you keep it (more than in a savings account). The values for these original matching numbered cars are going nowhere but up. The only reason I am selling this car from my private collection is I have several cars and I need to ‘thin the herd’ a bit.
